In fact, Adam has spent the greater part of the last couple decades sharpening his skills and making sure bad people get prosecuted and punished. For almost his entire career, Adam has sharpened his skills and made the best use of every experience he has had to become the best he can be at any job he does. He considers his career in criminal justice to be extremely important.

Adam Quirk’s initial motivation to go into law enforcement as a career came with the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Soon after, he conducted complete background investigations of applicants and candidates for the increasingly important job of Air Marshal. Making sure everyone enforcing the law on a plane is qualified and has no criminality in their background was suddenly more important than ever. That made his background checks more important than ever.

Many people like to refer to Adam Quirk as an accomplished and experienced criminal justice professional, and that is fine, as far as it goes. However, there is a lot more to his story than that. For almost two decades now, Adam has been honing his skills and milking every experience to become the best he can be at any job he does. After all, he thinks of his criminal justice career as extremely important. He was motivated to begin a career in law enforcement after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania. Soon after that, he began his career, doing complete background investigations of applicants and candidates for the now-important job of Air Marshal.

If there is one thing that can be said about Adam Quirk, it is that he has a tendency to be very forward-thinking, to the point that he has made sure he was highly trained in numerous newer technologies designed to pinpoint locations and identify suspects, including cellular phone tracking, call detail record analysis, and radio frequency technology. He has worked on these technologies a lot; so much so that he now qualifies as a cellular technology expert in federal and state courts.

At the beginning of his career, Adam Quirk performed thousands of in-person interviews of potential Air Marshal candidates as a part of his duties and his bosses gave him kudos for his completion rate in a division that was one of the best in the country. In short, it means Adam Quirk played a significant role in staffing to ranks of people who were assigned to keep the nation safe.

The Education of Adam Quirk

Adam Quirk places a premium on learning new technologies and new techniques of investigation. However, he is also intent on learning as much as possible academically. In 2001, he obtained a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. In 2007, he earned a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Boston University. He recently inserted himself into the classroom once again when he decided to work toward an MBA at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Of course, Adam Quirk learns a lot outside of the classroom, as well. In his spare time, he reviews all sorts of criminal justice-related literature, looking at as many case studies, journal articles and anything else that he can get his hands on.

Over the course of more than a decade and a half, Adam Quirk has been committed to a career in criminal justice, ever since he saw the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. That’s when he started conducting thorough background investigations of applicants and candidates to be Air Marshals. This was an important position because such Air Marshals need to have high-level security clearances. Adam Quirk performed thousands of in-person interviews of potential candidates as a part of his duties screening Air Marshals and he was given accolades for his completion rate in a division that was one of the top divisions in the country. That means Adam Quirk played a significant role in staffing to ranks of people who were assigned to keep the nation safe.

When Adam Quirk started working with the DEA as a Diversion investigator in 2004, . he worked with teams that investigated the diversion of controlled substances. That simply means they investigated cases in which drugs that were supposed to go to legal sellers ended up somewhere else. Even back then, Adam was often a team leader for long-term investigations.
